Protecting Our Home Plans and Designs

All plans, images, renderings, drawings, and content on JL Barndominium Artists’ website (www.jlbarndominiumartists.com) are protected under United States copyright laws.

Purchasing a plan grants a limited license to build one home only. Reproducing, modifying, copying, redrawing, sharing, reselling, or reusing any design without written permission from JL Barndominium Artists is strictly prohibited.

1. Copyrighted Home Plans

All home plans, floor plans, elevations, renderings, images, videos, documents, and website content are owned by JL Barndominium Artists and protected by copyright law.

2. Prohibition on Copying

It is illegal to copy, redraw, reproduce, adapt, or reuse copyrighted construction plans, images, renderings, or built-home designs without permission, even if changes are made.

To legally use one of our designs, you must purchase it directly from JL Barndominium Artists.

3. Single-Use License

Each plan purchase licenses you to construct one single home only.

Building additional homes from the same plan requires purchasing a separate license or reuse license.

For reuse licensing questions, contact:

info@jlbarndominiumartists.com

4. Modifications and Derivative Works

Modifying a copyrighted plan does not remove its copyright protection.

Any approved modifications, customizations, or derivative works based on JL Barndominium Artists’ plans remain protected and may not be copied, resold, shared, or reused without written permission.

5. Usage Restrictions

Plans may not be resold, transferred, published, shared with unauthorized third parties, or used for multiple projects.

If additional plan sets or files are needed for construction, they must be obtained legally through JL Barndominium Artists.

6. Liability for Copyright Infringement

All parties involved in unauthorized use, copying, reproduction, resale, or distribution may be held responsible under applicable copyright laws, including homeowners, builders, designers, architects, engineers, contractors, or copy shops.

7. Penalties for Infringement

Violating copyright laws can result in significant penalties, including statutory damages of up to $150,000 per infringement, recovery of profits and actual damages, and payment of legal fees.
