Homes Built by Our Clients

Every home below started with an idea — a rough sketch, an inspiration photo, or a layout that almost worked. We design the plans. Our clients hire their own builders to bring them to life. Below, see real journeys from families who trusted us with their vision.

Real Homes Built From Our Plans

Melissa’s Story: From Sketch to Finished Home

This project started with one of our pre-made plans: JLB2322.

Melissa liked the plan.

But she also had her own ideas for how it needed to change.

So she sketched out the adjustments she wanted and shared the direction she had in mind.

That became the starting point.

From there, we helped turn those edits into a clearer, more practical home plan.

A layout that made sense.

Details her builder could follow.

And space that worked for the way the home needed to live.

Below, you can see the journey:

This was the starting point Melissa shared with us.

This is the design we created from that direction.

After the home was built, Melissa shared:

She also mentioned that the plans were very detailed and that the contractors complimented the quality of the plans.

That is what a good custom design process should do.

It should take a plan you like, your own ideas, and the changes that matter to you — then shape them into a clear plan you can move forward with confidence.

Meggin Matte’s Story: Two Favorite Plans, One Perfect Design

This project started with two of our pre-made plans: JLB GP 2400 and JLB2400C.

Meggin already liked the overall look.

But like many families, she did not want to settle for a plan that only felt close.

She needed the home to fit the way she actually wanted to live.

She wanted 3 bedrooms.

An office with a window.

A hidden pantry.

Garage doors on the gable end.

Open living and kitchen space.

10-foot ceilings.

And a loft or bonus area.

So she marked up both plans, pointed out what she liked, and shared the changes she was considering.

That became the starting point.

Instead of forcing her life into a plan that almost worked, we used our pre-made plans as a foundation and helped shape them around her needs.

Because unlimited modifications are included, Meggin did not have to hold back.

She could send every idea, question, and markup — and we could work through them together until the direction became clear.

Below, you can see the journey:

That is the power of unlimited modifications.

Start with a plan you already love, then change anything you want — the layout, the rooms, the details — until it fits your family perfectly. No limits, no starting over.

Every home here began with that first change. Yours can too.

Kevin's Journey: From Idea to Home

Kevin Lewis and his family had the vision — but no real plan to build from.

They had sketches.

They had inspiration photos.

They had ideas they were excited about.

But when it came time to turn everything into a real home plan, things started to feel overwhelming.

The layout was not clear yet.

Some spaces did not flow naturally.

And the more they tried to organize everything, the harder it became to see how it would all come together into one home their family could actually build.

So we worked through it step by step.

We refined the layout, adjusted the flow of the rooms, and shaped the early ideas into a clear, buildable design that fit the way they wanted to live.

In the end, they did not just have sketches and ideas anymore.

They had a real plan — and a home they could finally move forward with confidence.

Because the hardest part is not having the vision…

It is turning that vision into something real.

That is what a good custom design process should do.

It takes a plan you like, your own ideas, and the changes that matter to you — then shapes them into a clear plan you can build with confidence.

This is just one story. Yours could be next.

Trista’s Story: Making a Good Plan Fit Her Family Better

This project started with one of our pre-made plans: JLB GP 2094.

Trista liked the overall layout.

But she also saw ways to make it work better for her family’s needs.

One of the first changes she wanted to explore was removing the flex room and using that space to create larger bedrooms.

She also wanted to remove the garage, eliminate the side porch, and continue refining the layout based on her own ideas.

That became the starting point.

Instead of settling for the original layout, Trista was able to mark up the plan, show what she liked, and point out what she wanted changed.

Because unlimited modifications are included, we could keep refining the design with her until the plan better matched her vision.

Below, you can see the journey:

This was the direction Trista wanted to explore.

Design We Created for Trista

After the home was built, Trista shared:

From there, we worked through the changes and looked at ways to reallocate space where it mattered most.

The goal was simple:

Larger secondary bedrooms
Better use of square footage
Removal of spaces she didn’t need
A layout that worked better for her family

That is what a good design process should do.

It should take a plan you already like and shape it around the way you actually want to live.
