From Your Ideas to Build-Ready Plans: How Our Process Works
You don’t need a finished plan to begin.
You can start with:
A rough hand-drawn sketch
A plan that almost works
Ideas from several different plans
Photos or inspiration you’ve saved
Or simply a list of your requirements
We will help you turn what you have into one practical home plan created around your family, lifestyle, and building goals.
Step 1: Contact Us or Place Your Order
If you already know which package you need, you can place your order directly through our website.
If you have questions or aren’t sure which package is right for you, contact us first. Send us your ideas, preferred plan, sketch, or requirements, and our team will help you choose the appropriate package.
Step 2: Send Us Your Ideas
After placing your order, send us everything that can help us understand your vision.
This may include:
Your preferred number of bedrooms and bathrooms
Approximate heated square footage
Garage or workshop requirements
Porch preferences
Ceiling heights
Special rooms or features
Exterior style inspiration
Plans, sketches, photos, or markups
Anything you want to keep, remove, add, or change
Your notes do not need to be professional. A simple sketch, marked-up plan, or written list can give us a clear place to begin.
Step 3: Receive Your First Draft
We review your requirements and create your personalized first draft.
Most clients receive their first draft within 1–2 working days.
The first draft gives you something clear to review. It allows you to see how your rooms, dimensions, entrances, and everyday spaces work together before the final plans begin.
Step 4: Review, Refine, and Approve Your Floor Plan
Your first draft is only the starting point.
You can tell us what you want moved, enlarged, reduced, removed, or added.
With unlimited revisions included, we continue refining the layout until you are satisfied with the plan.
You are not expected to approve a layout that doesn’t fit your family. Our goal is to support your decisions and make the process easier—not rush you into accepting the wrong plan.
Once you are satisfied with the room arrangement, dimensions, flow, and overall plan, you approve the floor plan.
We do not begin the final plan set until you approve this stage. This helps prevent major layout problems from being carried into the remaining drawings.
Step 5: We Create Your Final Plan Set
After your floor plan is approved, our team prepares the remaining drawings and services included in your selected package.
Depending on the package you choose, your plan set may include:
Detailed floor plan
Foundation plan
Roof plan
Front, rear, right, and left elevations
Electrical plan
Plumbing plan
Doors and windows schedule
Site plan
HVAC plan
Ceiling plan
Cabinet schedules
Materials list
Cross sections
2D interior elevations
CAD files
3D views
3D floor-plan rendering
Four 3D exterior renderings
Four 3D interior renderings
3D interior and exterior video tour
Final plans are typically delivered within 3–9 working days after floor-plan approval, depending on the selected package and project requirements.
You receive your plans digitally as printable files that you can share with your builder, county, or other professionals involved in your project.
Step 6: We Continue Supporting You
Our support does not end when your plans are delivered.
If your builder has questions or your county requests corrections, send us their written comments.
Every package includes free builder and county correction support. Our team will review the request and help address the applicable plan corrections.
You will not be left alone trying to interpret technical questions or coordinate necessary updates.
What You Can Expect From Us
Every project is supported by our commitment to making the process clear, flexible, and personal.
You receive:
A first draft within 1–2 working days
Unlimited revisions
Final plans within 3–9 working days after approval
Free builder and county correction support
A one-time build license
A 100% satisfaction guarantee
Continued support throughout the planning and building process
The exact drawings, renderings, and additional services you receive depend on the package you select.
The Entire Process Happens Remotely
You do not need to visit an office or live near our team.
We work with homeowners and builders across the United States through email and digital communication.
You can send your ideas, review drafts, request changes, approve your floor plan, and receive your final plans entirely online.
This allows you to complete your plan efficiently while still receiving personal support throughout the process.
Start With What You Already Have
You could spend months searching through hundreds of ready-made plans and still never find one that fits your family completely.
A faster approach may be to start with the ideas you already like and personalize them around the way you want to live.
Whether you have a sketch, an almost-right plan, several saved ideas, or only your requirements, we can help you turn them into one clear home plan.

See How Melissa Went Through This Process
Melissa realized early that she might never find the perfect plan for her family.
Every family lives differently. Every ready-made plan was created around someone else’s needs.
The longer you search for the perfect match, the more weeks, effort, and months you can lose.
So Melissa stopped searching for the perfect plan.
Instead, she decided to create it from what she already had:
A rough pencil sketch of the home she imagined.
Her sketch wasn’t professionally drawn.
It wasn’t drawn to scale.
It had no measurements or construction details.
But it clearly showed the rooms Melissa wanted and how she imagined them working together.
That was enough to begin.
In just 4 hours, we turned her sketch into a custom first draft.
The first draft was only the beginning.
Melissa reviewed the design.
She showed us what she wanted adjusted.
With unlimited revisions during this phase, we refined it with her until the layout fit her family.
Once she approved the floor plan, we completed her detailed full plan set in just 2 days.
Melissa took her completed plan set to her builder.
Then the plans became walls.
The walls became rooms.
And Melissa’s rough sketch became the home her family now lives in.
After it was built, she thanked us for the “wonderful plans” and shared:
“I have gotten a lot of compliments on how good the plans were from all the subs and contractors. They are very detailed.”
Melissa didn’t waste months and effort searching for the perfect plan.
She started with a simple sketch.
Four hours later, she had her first custom draft.
Today, her family lives in the home that began on that piece of paper.
If you already have a sketch, you may already have enough to begin.
Save months of searching. Send us what you have, and let’s turn it into a plan you can build from.
